Overview
An advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) is the means by which you alert our warehouse team that you intend to send an inbound shipment of stock to one of our TBM warehouses.
Completing the ASN accurately and in full will ensure that we have allocated the appropriate resources to receive your stock.
NOTE: Shipments inbounded alongside an incorrect or incomplete ASN will be refused.
Process - Creating an ASN
An ASN can be created at the following link, https://mytbmhub.tbm-solution.com/Stock/CreateASN/
Then complete the following steps:
- Warehouse: Select which TBM Warehouse the stock will be delivered to.
- POR Reference: Input your shipping reference if needed.
- Supplier: you can select your supplier here. (Suppliers can be added by setting them up using the 'Set Up Supplier' button on the top right of the page.
- Supplier Notes: Notes can be added in this section if needed.
- Save Time: Turn on this function if you wish to specify a delivery date and time, we recommend this is turned on and you specify an AM delivery time with the transport company.
- Estimated delivery time: Specify the date and time of your delivery's expected arrival.
- Comments: Any additional comments for the warehouse can be added in this section. This function can also be used to keep internal notes or specificities of ASN's.
- Delivery type: Please specify if this is a carton, pallet or container delivery.
- Quantity: Please specify the quantity of cartons, pallets or container being delivered.
Note: Correct completion of the estimated delivery time, type and quantity will ensure that sufficent resources are available to receive your inbound.
Click 'Next' --> On web page 2, you can add items:
- Add items line by line - select SKU and Quantity. Add to ASN.
- Add items via CVS - Download template. Input SKU and quantity and upload as CSV file. Add to ASN
- Add attachments - in this section you can upload any files from your factory or supplier. packing list can also be added here.
Stipulations around ASN changes
An ASN can be modified however the following process must be adhered to:
- An ASN should be created and posted at least 48 hours in advanced of the expected arrival date.
- Any deliveries of quantities greater than 2 pallets need to have a specific arrival date and time.
- Changes can be made to your ASN up to 48 hours before the orignal scheduled date and time.
- If you become aware of any changes to your delivery within 48 hours of the orignally scheduled inbound delivery date or time you must contact our CS team to ensure we can accommodate these changes. if you don't inform us of these changes within the aforementioned time frame, we will not be able to accept your inbound delivery.
