OverView

When there is an order in MYTBMHUB that does not have all stock available, they will go into the status BackOrder. 


TBM Solution do not monitor clients BackOrders. These can be found on your dashboard under OrderStatusSummaryAll.

Process

The Options available are as follows: 

  1. Hold the order until the stock comes available. When more stock arrives the system will automatically ship any pending backorders for that stock. 
  2. Contact your customers first, edit the order to remove items that are not available and add an alternative item. 
  3. You can spilt the order, this will then ship the available stock, it will hold back the out-of-stock items for later fulfilment when this stock arrives. 
  4. Finally, you can cancel the order if you wish. 



The key areas to be review are as follows:

  • SKU- Product identification code
  • Quantity- Quantity that's on the order 
  • Allocated- Number of units allocated to this order
  • BackOrder- Number of units not available
  • Status Breakdown- This is a snapshot of your stock across all our warehouses (what stock is available and what's on order)
